WARRANTIES: Your purchase may include a 30 day, 3 month, 6 month, or 1 year manufacturer's defective parts warranty only which starts from the date of delivery. We do not warrant labor. Warranty does not include normal wear parts such as: tires, wheels, light-bulbs, body panels, seat, decals, cables, brake pads and or shoes, shocks or battery. The warranty does not cover failures caused by accidents or collision damage, excessive rider weight, neglect or abuse, improper assembly of parts and or after market items and improper maintenance or use such as rental or racing. All parts for warranty must be returned to us for inspection, if needed, before replacement. By making a purchase on this site or calling our toll free order hotline to make a purchase, you confirm this document has been read and you agree to all conditions listed. Every item on this website comes with its own manufacturers warranty and this information will usually be provided with your purchased item(s). Some major brand named items must be repaired by service centers that specialize in those products. For those products we will put you in contact with your local service center. The customer should first contact our sales force by email, in which we will troubleshoot the problem. Failures caused by accident, alteration, misuse, or ordinary wear and tear are not covered by any warranty (from us or authorized service centers assisting us). Railroad Salvage Tool and Equipment Company (and our authorized service centers) at its discretion, will repair or replace products covered under this warranty free of charge. However, the customer must pay for shipping costs to return the item to our warehouse for inspection. Railroad Salvage Tool and Equipment Company or its authorized service representatives must perform all warranty repairs. Any repairs to the product by unauthorized service representatives voids all warranties. The rights under product warranties are limited to the original user and may not be transferred to subsequent owners. Futhermore all sales are final on any products on this website and you can not return items for refunds. If for some reason we do decide to refund an item, we can not refund the shipping costs from original purchase and apply a restocking fee of up to 20%. Any motorized product that is purchased from this site including mopeds, scooters, mini bikes, atvs, motorcycles, go karts, ect... can not be returned for a refund for any reason. Purchasing a motorized product on our site is like purchasing a car, when you buy it you can not return it. We make every attempt to provide you with as much information on the products as possible before the purchase and offer great customer service once you get the product, but you can not accept the shipment, then decide you do not want it. If you decline delivery of your shipment for any reason other than damage to the item(s), we will hold the purchaser responsible for all shipping fees and up to a 20% restocking fee. When you receive shipment of your motorized product, please inspect the packaging and contents for damage before signing for the shipment. If you see damage, please do not accept delivery unless you deem that the damage is minor enough for simple repair at your expense and time. On returned shipments we will send out a replacement as soon as possible.

SHIPPING POLICY: Our web site has been set up to offer you instant online ordering of most items. We value our customers and respond quickly. When ordering mopeds, go carts, mini bikes, atvs, or other large pieces of tools or equipment, be advised that you are responsible for getting the item off the delivery truck unless the product includes lift gate service. The truck driver is only responsible for bringing the item to the back end of the truck/trailer for all other items. The shipping quote for your item does not include a lift gate equipped truck for lowering your item(s) to the ground. If you need a lift gate equipped truck on items that do not include a lift gate, please tell us when ordering. Lift gate service usually will be an additional $75-$100. The trucking company that delivers your item(s) will call you before delivery in most cases, to arrange delivery. Normally the phone call will incure on the day before delivery, or the day of delivery. Any special arrangements made by you with the shipping company will be at the expense of the receiver of the item(s) and not the responsibility of Railroad Salvage Tool and Equipment Company or our suppliers. Please be advised on home deliveries without a lift gate, enlist the help of a friend or two to off load the item(s) when possible. When receiving delivery of your item(s) check for any damage to the packaging surrounding the item(s). If you see damage, use your discretion on whether to accept delivery of your item(s) or decline shipment of your item(s) by signing the shipping papers or making a note on the shipping papers before signing. Once you sign the shipping papers you are responsible for the item(s) and any damage that incured that you didn't notice. When declining shipment of your item(s) be advised that Railroad Salvage Tool and Equipment Company will not credit your charge card for the shipping fee(s) that you have been charged and the shipping charges we incur from the shipping company that returns the item to us.
