machinists, and heat-treaters around the world. An anvil is a heavy
block of steel or iron on which metal is shaped or forged (formed by
heating and hammering). In the old days, anvils were the most important
tool for a blacksmith or farrier. In the "here and present"
anvils come in various sizes based on weight. They are used for many
